SOMEONE’S HAVING DINO BABIES.

Just noticed in the bathroom mirror. I can make myself look pregnant for reasonably long periods of time by pushing my stomach out in a funny way. I once did it for a few consecutive hours on holiday in Newquay to see if I got treated differently… I know I’m a nutcase but it was funny. And interesting if you’re into social behaviourisms… This however is just my dinosaur friend. I like him. I’d still like a dog though. And real hugs from a real human being. I have one in mind but maybe that’s not a good idea (I’ll give you a clue, his pseudonym starts with d…).

I think that’s the weakness I’ve got myself wrapped up in when I get involved with people. I go for people that have (or appear to have) a real passionate interest in something. With the exception of one person, whom I’m sure was/is passionate about various things, but they never gave anything away… there was something else there but I don’t really know what… The closest they had to a passion that I could see was… Me?

I think that one of the biggest reason why relationships do not work out in the long run is because at one point, one side (or both) stops trying. Before one claims another person as their significant other, they would do anything to make that person happy. They would chase, they would flirt, they would be charming. They would send daily morning and goodnight texts every time you wake up or go to sleep. They would write corny messages and pick up lines just to make sure that there is a smile upon your face. But once they claim you as theirs, all of those things eventually stop. The 5 page texts slowly turn into 1. The constant calls turn into not calling at all. And the lovely endearments turn into daily arguments. In order for a relationship to work, don’t ever stop chasing. Just because the person you want is now consider “yours”, it does not mean they deserve anything less than the time when you’re trying to win them over.
